Aqimero: A Classy Latin American Dining Experience in Philadelphia

Came here with my colleagues for dinner and drinks. Service was outstanding - very attentive and quick. We ordered the cheesesteak empanadas (cheesy and delicious - make sure to have with the chimichurri sauce) and guacamole (fresh though a bit too salty) to share. I had the cauliflower for my entree which was delicious, loved the hummus underneath and cauliflower was cooked perfectly. For drinks, had several Passion Fruit Pisco Sours which were delicious- not as sweet as it sounds.

Did the bar at Aqimero while staying at the Philadelphia Ritz. The setup is fine - good service and decent selection. Honestly though when considering the grandeur of the space and when compared to similar hotel bars at even other Ritzs - the bar here could be so much more interesting.

This place is great. Came in for the first time on a Saturday night and was greeted by a beautiful host, Isabella. She was very welcoming as she introduced me to Aqimero, and its variety of Latin flavor dishes. With an already full stomach I decided to just get some drinks at the bar. The service at the bar was great. The bartenders were attentive and in good spirits. The cocktails were great and it was good to see the large variety of spirits to choose from.

This place is beautiful! My server was named Jasper and was very sweet. I’m a restrictive eater and had a couple questions about menu items. She was able to answer every question and able to give great suggestions! I had a lunch dish and it was great as well presented beautifully. Along with that everyone was very attentive and nice! Definitely will be going again.

I decided to go to this restaurant for my sister's birthday. First, I'd like to mention the atmosphere, which gives off a calm, chic, and open space vibe. The aesthetic is pleasing with the dim lamp lights on the table and the high ceilings. The menu itself had a smaller selection, which could be a bit limiting for those who prefer more variety, but the dishes offered were well-crafted. The staff were friendly and attentive, which really added to the overall dining experience. Some items are on the pricier side, but considering the restaurant is connected to The Ritz-Carlton, the quality and setting definitely reflect that. As for the food, it was quite good. I had the Cheesesteak Empanadas and Crispy Shrimp & Calamari as appetizers, along with the salmon for my entrée, which was really tasty and was a decent portion. Some others at the table had the lobster, but they were somewhat disappointed since there was barely any meat, which didn't seem worth the price they paid. I also tried the short ribs, which were great, and the Cusco Chicken dish, which was excellent on its own. The sides definitely added to the overall meal, so I recommend ordering them for a more well-rounded experience. I had the Crab Mashed Potatoes and Esquites Mac and Cheese if you are looking for something to try. Overall, the atmosphere and quality of food at this restaurant make it worth visiting, despite a few slight disappointments. Lastly, the drinks were great, and the dessert was as well. The flavors and presentation of the dishes, along with the ambiance, create a memorable dining experience that is definitely worth trying.

Special on every aspect, it’s a real treat. We had some timely issues with our brunch and the manager came over to smooth things over. Food was amazing! Loved this experience!

Aqimero at The Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia offers an excellent breakfast in a stunning, historic lobby setting. The ambiance is elegant yet relaxed, featuring high ceilings, chandeliers, and luxurious decor. Plush lounge sofas create cozy, inviting spots perfect for lingering. Highlights include creative, high-quality Latin-infused dishes served with style—far above standard hotel breakfasts. A memorable, upscale way to start the day! Visited here for Boozy Tea and was not disappointed. Our server Rosie was amazing best service I have received in a long time . Definitely will be coming back and requesting her. The food was amazing the Oysters were so good. I had the earl grey and it was very good and well done with presentation.
